Local cancer survivors called to participate in ground-breaking ceremony

Posted: Updated:

YUMA, Ariz. (13 On Your Side) - Yuma Regional Medical is calling on cancer survivors to participate in the ground-breaking ceremony of their new cancer center.

On May 17, the hospital will hold a ceremony to celebrate cancer care and treatment that will now be available in our very own community.

They want 75 local cancer survivors to carry a flag of honor as a sign of hope and promise.

The flag will be displayed at the new cancer center.

If you are a cancer survivor or know a survivor who is willing and able to participate, please call the YRMC Community Relations Department at (928) 336-7005 by May 10 for more information.
