Student who brought gun to high school pleads guilty to disorderly conduct

YUMA, Ariz. (13 On Your Side) - A Gila Ridge student who admitted to bringing a gun to campus in March has pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct.

Jacob Allen was in Municipal Court yesterday with his attorney Candy Camarena.

In exchange for his plea, the prosecution dropped his original charges of carrying a weapon on school grounds and carrying a deadly weapon.

On March 27, Allen was arrested after police recovered a handgun he brought to school and ditched in a trashcan.

Allen will be sentenced next month.
