Winterhaven Family seeks justice for loved one's murder

Yuma, Ariz. (13 On Your Side) - "It's a lot of heart ache and a lot of grieving," said Joseph Montaldo.

Montaldo says the death of his younger brother Angel has been very difficult for him and his family.

"My brother was only 20 years old at the time," he tells 13 On Your Side.

"He was on the right path for once and he just happened to be at the wrong place at the wrong time, with the wrong individuals and he was taken from us," said Joseph.

Joseph tells 13 On Your Side his little brother was a family man, a husband, and a father.

He says Angel was working hard to provide for his family when he was suddenly murdered.

"He did everything he possibly could for his three children. He had two daughters and a son."

Joseph says what made it even more difficult was not knowing who murdered his brother and why.

He says while there has been a lot of heart ache and grieving since the loss of his brother, he says the news of Michael Rose's arrest is one step closer to justice.

"It felt great you know, to know we weren't forgotten about because I know there are numerous families out there that murders go unsolved and it's hard to deal with, it really is, not having closure not knowing" Said Joseph.
