13 On Your Side "Father's Day Staycation"

Official Contest Rules:

 

1. HOW TO ENTER:

No purchase necessary. To enter, log onto facebook.com/KSWT13 and click on the "Father's Day Staycation Photo Contest" contest link and complete the online form along with a photo submission. The online registration form will be available beginning Monday, June 3, 2013 at 12PM MST through Friday June 7, 2013 8 PM MST

 

Broadcast spots promoting the contest will air Monday, June 3, 2013 at 12PM MST through Friday, June 7, 2013 8 PM MST

 

Limitations on entries: Only 1 electronic online entry per internet account/email address/Facebook profile will be accepted during this contest. There will be 1 weekly contest entry period. Each weekly entry period shall commence at 12 Noon PDT/PST Monday and end Friday at 8:00 PDT/PST. The KSWT 13 On Your Side New Media computer is the official clock for this sweepstakes.

 

 

KSWT-TV 13 On Your Side is not responsible for lost, damaged, late, misdirected, incomplete or illegible entries, or technical problems incurred while entering via the internet. 

*This contest can be cut short or extended due to programming decisions beyond our control, including and/or preemption of the program due to breaking news. 

 

2. THE PRIZES: 

 

KSWT-TV 13 On Your Side and the Q Casino Resort are giving away one (1) 2-night stay at the Q Casino Resort (value $200) and two(2) certificated to the Ocotills Café Restaurant (value $50 each).

 

The one (1) winner will be selected via online vote from all eligible entries received that during the promotional contest period. Odds of winning will depend upon how many eligible entries are received. There will be a total of one (1) winner/s.  Winners will be notified by telephone and/or email and/or mail.

By accepting this these one (1) 2-night stay at the Q Casino Resort (value $200) and two(2) certificated to the Ocotills Café Restaurant (value $50 each), you will become solely responsible for payment of all applicable federal, state and local taxes attached to the value of the award. An IRS Form 1099 showing the fair market value of the prize may be issued to the federal government for tax reporting purposes.

 

In addition, each winner is responsible for any and all additional prize related fees. Each prize package shall not include the following: alcoholic beverages; merchandise, souvenirs, etc; local and long distance telephone calls; tips, gratuities, service charges, resort fees or taxes; or all other charges not explicitly included as part of the prize package. Any fees or expenses not specifically mentioned as part of the prize package are not included. 

 

Prize Redemption: Each winner will be required to be over 18 year old and have a valid ID. Winner's must come to the KSWT-TV 13 On Your Side business office to pick up their prize.

Prize Release Forms: Prize release forms for each of the winners must be signed at the KSWT-TV 13 On Your Side Stations by when the winners claim their prize. 

Winner must be at least 18 years of age. 

If official winner(s) forfeit the prize(s), for whatever reason, the prize(s) will become the property of KSWT-TV 13 On Your Side

3. ELIGIBILITY RESTRICTIONS:

a) This contest is void where prohibited or restricted by law. Must be 18 years of age or older to enter. This contest is open to all legal U.S. residents.

b) Employees of KSWT-TV 13 On Your Side, Q Casino Resort,  or Paradise Casino and their subsidiaries, divisions, affiliates and advertising agencies, and their immediate families, are not eligible to enter.

c) Winners will be required to present valid identification to redeem prize. Winners who have won any prize on KSWT-TV 13 On Your Side within the last 60 days are ineligible and will be disqualified.

 

4. CONDITIONS OF ENTRY:

a) Use of winner's name: By entering, each entrant grants permission, without further compensation, to KSWT-TV 13 On Your Side and their agents, licensees, to use the entrant's name, voice, photograph, likeness and biographical material for broadcast, online and promotional purposes in connection with the contest. 

b) Decision of KSWT-TV 13 On Your Side is final. Participants waive any and all claims of liability against KSWT-TV 13 On Your Side/Pappas Telecasting, its affiliates, employees, agents and sponsors, from any accident, loss and/or injury occurring as a result or consequence of this contest and/or prize.

c) Waylon's Water World, their parent, subsidiary, related and affiliated companies and their respective officers, directors, employees and agents shall be released and discharged from any and all legal claims, losses, injuries, demands, damages, actions, and/or causes of actions which arise out of and/or in any way related to the prize, the receipt, use and/or enjoyment of the prize and/or the Promotion. 

 

1. There will be no prize substitutions and only one prize will be awarded per person. 

2. Rules are subject to change without notice. 

3. This contest can be suspended in the event that the integrity of the contest has been jeopardized due to events beyond KSWT-TV 13 On Your Side's control.

4. Due to breaking news coverage, the end date of this promotion can be extended as needed.

 

5. INTERNET:

 

If for any reason, the Internet-related portion of this contest is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, tampering, fraud, technical failure, or any other cause which corrupts or threatens the administration, security or integrity of the contest, KSWT-TV 13 On Your Side reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to terminate or suspend the contest or any portion of the contest. Any attempt to damage or undermine the fair and legitimate operation of this contest will result in disqualification from the contest.
