Sex offender moves to a new residence in Yuma

YUMA, Ariz. (13 On Your Side) - The Yuma County Sheriff's Office wants to let you know of a high-risk sex offender who was moved into a new neighborhood in Yuma.

44-year-old John Schenck has been convicted of sex crimes three times. He is now living at 2526 West 4th Place in Yuma.

He is described as being 5'3" tall, 250 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

Schenck was convicted of an unknown sex offense in 1997.

Then in 2001, he was convicted for public sexual indecency on two seperate occasions.

Deputies say Schenck is a Level 3 sex offender, meaning he is at high risk to strike again.
