Posted:

YUMA, Ariz. (13 On Your Side) - 13 On Your Side has teamed up with the Foundation at Yuma Regional Medical Center help local students have all the necessary school supplies before the school year starts—and we need your help.

Volunteers will be stuffing backpacks at the Yuma Palms Mall on July 19 from noon to 8:00 pm, as part of the "Stuff the Bus" event.

The fundraiser has raised more than $25,000 of its $60,000 goal this year.

Today, we are asking for your help to make sure each child in Yuma County has supplies to start the school year off right.

Each backpack costs $13 for 'Drive for School Supplies' to fill.

You can make a donation online at www.yumaregional.org or at the Foundation of Yuma Regional Medical Center office, located at 399 West 32nd Street.

You can also make donations of school supplies such as backpacks, crayons, markers, colored pencils, glue sticks, three-ring binders, folders, notebook paper, rulers, erasers and dictionaries can also be made at the Foundation office.  All donations are tax-deductible.
