SAN LUIS, Ariz. (13 On Your Side) - Customs and Border Protection officers at the San Luis Port of Entry busted a U.S. citizen trying to smuggle meth and heroin into Arizona.

Officers say 22-year-old Felipe de Jesus Gomez, who was living in San Luis, Rio Colorado, had the drugs taped to his thighs as he tried passing through the pedestrian lane at the port.

The total value of the methamphetamine and heroin is estimated to be more than $24,134.

Gomez was arrested and is now being investigated by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement's Homeland Security Investigations.
