YUMA, Ariz. (13 On Your Side) - The Cocopah Indian Tribe is stepping up to help the Yuma Community Food Bank by donating thousands of dollars to help the hungry.

Last year, the Cocopah Tribal Council donated $50,000 in quarterly payments.

The last payment was made in June of 2013.

And now this year, the tribe hopes to continue to donate to the Yuma Community Food Bank to help the needy in the community.

Mike Ivers, President and CEO of the Food Bank visited the Cocopah administration offices to take part in the $10,000 check presentation.
