Man wanted for jewelry store burglary arrested in Phoenix

YUMA, Ariz. (13 On Your Side) – We have an update on the burglar wanted for breaking into a Yuma jewelry store nearly two years ago.

The man police say was behind the burglary has been located in Phoenix.

Phoenix police arrested 32-year-old Derek Bradford on Friday on an unrelated warrant.

As we recently reported, Yuma police had a warrant out for his arrest in connection to the burglary at Sand and Stone in Yuma in November 2011.

After Bradford faces his charges in Phoenix, he will be extradited to Yuma to faces charges in this case.
