Thousands left without power after bird causes power line damage

YUMA, Ariz. (13 On Your Side) - More than 2,100 APS customers in the Yuma area were left without power this morning.

It happened shortly after 7:00 am.

Arizona Public Services tells 13 On Your Side it was a bird that caused the outage, not this morning's rainy weather.

Power was restored to all customers by noon, according to an APS official.
