YUMA, Ariz. (13 On Your Side) - Dozens gathered to "Zumba" for a good cause on Saturday, as part of another community effort to fight the war on hunger.

Today, we learned the Zumbathon fundraiser held at Pueblo Elementary School's auditorium raised $844 for the Yuma Community Food Bank.

Mike Ivers, President and CEO of the Yuma Community Food Bank, tells 13 On Your Side this will provide 7,596 meals for the hungry in the Yuma area.

Attendees also donated non-perishable food items and baby supplies, like diapers.

13 On Your Side attended the Zumbathon this weekend, where 19 licensed instructors got together to help raise money for the food bank.

One hundred percent of the proceeds will go to the Yuma Community Food Bank to benefit the needy.
