OSLO, Norway, September 18, 2013 /PRNewswire/ --
CMA Contiki, a leading provider of Sourcing and CLM (contract lifecycle management) software, has signed a contract to implement strategic sourcing and contract management for Statkraft, Europe's number one in renewable energy. Contiki will for Statkraft accelerate and streamline their strategic sourcing and contract processes and enable access to all information related to contracts and complex projects.
"Contiki has unbeatable references in the energy industry, especially in the way the strategic sourcing processes and post contract follow up is handled," Statkraft SVP Procurement Kjetil Forfang said. "Contiki is known as a very scalable and stable collaborative CLM-system, which most certainly will give immediate value to our internationally distributed company. Furthermore, Contiki will be an important tool to increase compliance and internal and external collaboration."
"Energy companies like Statkraft want more than a simple contract repository, and more than a tactical sourcing software," CMA Contiki's Sales Director for Energy and Nordic Countries Lars Robertsen said. "They want comprehensive solutions that allow them to more intelligently, profitably and with lower risk manage the full contract lifecycles across their diversified set of companies. We can give Statkraft that type of comprehensive functionality."
Statkraft is Europe's leader in renewable energy. The group develops and generates hydropower, wind power, gas power and district heating, and is a major player on the European energy exchanges. Statkraft is represented in more than 20 countries.
