Man facing first-degree murder in deadly shooting

YUMA, Ariz. (13 On Your Side) - Yuma Sheriff's say a man they arrested for attempted homicide yesterday is now facing first-degree murder.

On Wednesday, deputies reported to a shooting where Jose Orejel was shot multiple times at a Yuma home.

Paramedics rushed him to the hospital, and he was later airlifted to Phoenix where he was listed in critical condition.

The Yuma County Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigation Bureau was able to identify Robert Moore as the suspect.

They served a high-risk search warrant on Thursday and arrested 47-year-old Moore at his home. 

Just before 6:00 am this morning, Jose Orejel, the victim, died.

Moore is remains behind bars on first degree murder charges.

We do not know what his motive may have been.
