NOGALES, Ariz. (13 On Your Side) — Customs and Border Protection officers stopped a tractor-trailer load of Mexican squash, with a $10.1 million shipment of marijuana hidden inside.

It happened Wednesday at the Port of Nogales.

Officers found the record-breaking amount of pot as they inspected the shipment 32-year-old Pedro Corona-Moreno of Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico, was attempting to bring into the United States.

When the shipment was offloaded, a CBP canine alerted officers to the presence of marijuana.

Agents unloaded 881 bundles of marijuana, weighing 20,375 pounds.

This seizure surpasses Arizona's previous record of $7.1 million worth of marijuana, which were seized January 15.

The tractor-trailer, drugs and produce were processed for seizure.

The driver was arrested and turned over to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement's Homeland Security Investigations.
