YUMA, Ariz. (13 On Your Side) - Customs and Border Protection officers caught a smuggling suspect with thousands of dollars worth of hard drugs at the San Luis Port of Entry.
The woman was arrested last night, after a K-9 alerted CBP officers to the presence of drugs in the sedan she was driving.
Officers say the woman, who was from San Luis, Rio Colorado, Sonora, Mexico, had methemphetamine and heroin stashed inside the frame of her car.
The drugs are worth a total of more than $370,000.
