YUMA, Ariz. (13 On Your Side) - With the Holiday season upon us, seasonal jobs are sprouting up across Yuma.

13 On Your Side spoke with someone who got some seasonal work with the Salvation Army as a bell ringer.

Alexis Teposte lives with his mom and has been looking for work since the beginning of the year. Teposte has been a bell ringer seasonally for 2 years. "The money comes in handy for paying the bills" says Teposte, who helps his mom make ends meet in their home.

Teposte said the job search was tough, and it was a "blessing" to have osme work to make some eatra cash in an area that suffers from an unemployment rate above 30%.

"Kinda makes me feel like the man of the house" Says Teposte, when asked about how it feels to help provide for his family.
