Cats, dogs rescued from burning Phoenix apartment


PHOENIX (AP) - Four days and two cats are alive after being rescued from a Phoenix condo apartment which had caught fire.

The Fire Department says firefighters used donated resuscitation equipment on the animals and reunited them with their owner.

The owner was not home at the time of the fire late Sunday afternoon.

Cause of the fire is under investigation.
