Humane Society of Yuma to host licensing and rabies clinics


YUMA, Ariz. (13 On Your Side) - In an effort to keep pets and people in the Yuma County area safe, the Humane Society of Yuma will be holding vaccine and licensing clinics.

The Humane Society tells 13 On Your Side all dogs, once they are three months old, must be licensed to prove he or she is up-to-date with vaccinations.

If you are a Yuma County resident living outside of City of Yuma and City of Somerton city limits must license their dog through the Humane Society of Yuma.

Here are the licensing clinic dates that will be held during the next couple of months:


  • January 18th at the San Luis Cultural Center (1:00 - 3:00 pm)
  • February 15th at the Somerton Petsapalooza (10:00 am - 1:00 pm)
  • February 22nd at the Humane Society Spay and Neuter Clinic (10:00 am - 1:00 pm)
  • March 1st at Dateland ElementarySchool (12:00 - 2:00 pm)
  • March 22nd at the Pioneer Shopping Center (10:00 am - 1:00 pm)
