MONTREAL, May 1, 2014 /CNW Telbec/ - Fibrenoire, a telecommunication company specializing in fibre optic connectivity services for businesses in Quebec and Ontario, continues to expand. Fibrenoire announces today its acquisition of Pixel Web, a company specializing in Internet access technology and telecommunication services.

The acquisition of Pixel Web, a Boucherville-based Internet Service Provider, will allow Fibrenoire to increase its presence in the greater Montreal region by adding more than 150 new clients to its existing client portfolio. Pixel Web clients will now be able to benefit from Fibrenoire's reliable fibre optic network.

"This acquisition comes at a perfect time for us and our strategic growth plan given that these 150 new clients already use fibre optic technology. We have established a solid reputation in the last years delivering top of the industry fiber connectivity services.  Our clients are able to implement a state-of-the-art telecommunication infrastructure needed for their cloud applications, which in turn, allow them to be more productive and efficient. This is the experience that we want our new clients to benefit from, now that they are part of the Fibrenoire family," says Benjamin Desmarais, President and CEO of Fibrenoire.

"It goes without saying that Pixel Web customers will continue to receive the same level of personalized technical support services in addition to being able to take advantage of Fibrenoire's robust Next Generation IP network and our 1Gbps fibre optic access" states Rémi Fournier, VP Sales & Engineering.
