NEW YORK, May 7, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Roubini Global Economics (RGE) today announced the hiring of Sheryl King as Senior Director of Research. Sheryl will manage the research team at RGE's New York City headquarters, contributing to the development of the company's macroeconomic and asset class views.

Most recently, Sheryl was chief economist and strategist at Bank of America Merrill Lynch Canada, where she covered Canadian and U.S. economies, fixed-income and equity markets. In her previous role as assistant chief economist at Merrill Lynch, Sheryl managed the firm's U.S. economics team overseeing its macro forecasting and leveraging her expertise on the equity and fixed income markets. Sheryl has also worked as U.S. macro forecaster at TD Bank and served as a bond and currency strategist for TD Securities. Earlier in her career, Sheryl spent eight years at the Bank of Canada. A frequent guest columnist for The Globe and Mail (Toronto), Sheryl was ranked as the top sell-side macro forecaster by Bloomberg in 2010.
