CALEXICO, Calif. (KSWT-TV 13 ON Your Side) -- U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers in Calexico used x-ray equipment to discover twenty wrapped packages of cocaine hidden inside the dashboard of a pick-up truck. 

The cocaine had an estimated street value of $676,000 and had a total weight of 52 pounds.
 
The drug bust happened Friday night shortly after 11 p.m.. CBP Officers referred a 21-year old female U.S. Citizen driving a 2006 Honda Ridegeline for a secondary inspection. 

A CBP narcotics detector dog alerted officers to the truck's dashboard. An in-depth inspection led to the discovery of twenty vacuum-sealed packages hidden inside a compartment behind the passenger-side airbag cover.

CBP Officers arrested the Calipatria resident and turned her over to Homeland Security.
