YUMA (KSWT-TV 13OYS) -- Yuma Sector Border Patrol agents patrolling near the Colorado River found 855 pounds of marijuana worth $427,000 inside of a pick-up truck abandoned by drug smugglers.

Agents spotted a Jeep Cherokee parked near an area where the Normandy Barriers has been cut.

Nearby, agents came across several smugglers who were trying to free a Chevy pick-up truck that was stuck along the Colorado River bank.
