Front Row Scores a Key Sports Technology Patent

 

Albuquerque, NM /myprgenie.com / ACCESSWIRE / Jun 24, 2014 / Front Row Technologies, LLC today announced that it has been issued a patent by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) covering the authorization of computing devices (e.g., tablets, smartphone, laptop computers, etc) for receipt of venue-based data (e.g., sports video, statistics, concession offerings, etc) based on the geographic location of the user.  U.S. Patent No. 8,750,784 entitled “Method, System and Server for Authorizing Computing Devices for Receipt of Venue-Based Data Based on the Geographic Location of a User” issued on June 10, 2014 and includes claims covering for example, the use of hand held computing devices in a sports stadium or other venue based on the user’s location.
