Super Station Jose FM KLYY, KDLD and KDLE Simulcast to be Recognized by Nielsen on July 28

LOS ANGELES, July 15, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Entravision Communications Corporation (NYSE: EVC), a diversified Spanish-language media company, today announced that the combined content simulcast of its Super-Station "Jose" KLYY FM 97.5, KDLD FM 103.1 and KDLE FM 103.1 is the #1 Ranked Spanish-language radio station in Los Angeles, in Prime Time among Latino Adults 18-49 (Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.), according to the combined June 2014 ratings reports released by Nielsen Audio. Since April 1, 2014, KDLD and KDLE have broadcast Jose KLYY content in simulcast, and Nielsen has reported rankings for these stations independently; however, beginning July 28th, Nielsen will recognize Entravision's "Jose FM" stations as KLYY-FM only; combining the three signals into one station for its radio reporting.  Through the creation of this "Super-Station" and the addition of KDLD and KDLE, Jose has increased its coverage across Central Los Angeles, Orange County and the San Fernando Valley.

Entravision's Jose FM's combined content simulcast success is in part driven by its strong drive time programming and unique on-air personalities.  In afternoon drive time Jose FM's Erazno y La Chokolata program is the runaway leader. Number one in five key demographics, the program leads all other Spanish-language stations in the time slot among Latino Adults 18-49, 25-54 and Latino Males 18-34, 18-49, and 25-54 (Monday through Friday from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.).  Additionally, Jose FM's El Genio Lucas program is in second place in the morning drive time slot among Latino Adults 25-54 (Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.).

"Los Angeles is the largest Latino radio market in the U.S. and the creation of this super-station significantly expanded the reach of our successful and growing Jose format," said Jeffery Liberman, Chief Operating Officer of Entravision. "We have a strong commitment across all our markets to deliver the best musical content and personalities and are proud to position Entravision as the go-to source for fresh and vibrant programming that is both entertaining and culturally significant. Our success reflects the hard work of our entire staff and the dedication and loyalty of our valued listeners and advertising clients."

"We are pleased with the superior performance of our Los Angeles Jose station, which further strengthens our platform and increases our ability to connect advertisers with the growing Latino consumer market," added Matt Cardenas, SVP Integrated Marketing Solutions for Entravision in Los Angeles. "Jose is a thriving station that brings a unique sound and some of the best personalities on air to our listeners."

El Show de Erazno y La Chokolata is a top performing radio program in more than 35 U.S. Latino markets. The cast, led by the multi-talented Oswaldo Diaz, uses comedy to unite their listeners through skits and impersonations.  El Show de Erazno y La Chokolata is syndicated and represented on a network basis on radio stations across the U.S. exclusively by Entravision Solutions.

El Genio Lucas is a top performing radio program airing on 40 affiliates including 15 of the top 25 U.S. Latino markets.  The show is led by Alex "El Genio" Lucas who delivers a compelling morning program by sharing stories of enlightenment and positive affirmations with his loyal audience.  El Genio Lucas is syndicated and represented on a network basis on radio stations across the U.S. exclusively by Entravision Solutions.
